1. Introduction to Animal Sounds
Animals make different sounds. We can describe these sounds using simple sentences like:
A dog barks.
A cat meows.
A cow moos.
These sentences help us learn about animals and how they communicate.
2. Common Animals and Their Sounds
Animal | Sound | Sentence Example |

3. Sentence Structure
We use the same structure to describe any animal sound:
🔹 A/An + animal + sound verb.
Examples:
A lion roars.
A duck quacks.
A sheep baas.
Note: Use “An” if the animal name starts with a vowel sound.
e.g., An owl hoots.

Display animal pictures and sound words.
Pupils match each animal to its correct sound.

Play animal sounds (or mimic them).
Pupils guess the animal.
